Christ Community Church has an ongoing missions emphasis in various ways. Because of its affiliation with the Christian and Missionary Alliance worldwide, the church is involved in supporting the Great Commission Fund of the C&MA, a large part of which is devoted to international missions. Also, every year there is a missions emphasis with a guest missionary who has served outside the United States. Guest missionaries in previous years have served in Russia, Mongolia, Brazil, Germany, England, Bosnia, Chile, Guinea plus others. For more information about missions with the C&MA, check the website: www.cmalliance.org .
The church has also helped to support for a number of years two other missionary families – first, John and Cora Duerksen who have served longtime with Wycliffe Bible Translators in Sudan and Kenya and are based out of Oklahoma City. The other family is Ted and Kaylin Offutt who have served a number of years both in Thailand and in Kyrgystan through Grace Brethren International as well as with Campus Crusade for Christ and now provide orientation and training for missionaries in Atlanta, Georgia.
